Hey there everyone! I know, it's a miracle that Im finally updating again! I know that Im really bad at it! The only reason that I ever remembered that I have this is because some of the kids at school found this page somehow and told me that I really needed to update this.  Now you all can get off my back about it! lol Anyhow....there has been alot going on! So, here it goes...

My dad's heart is always getting weaker. Most of  you know we have been taking him to the hospital for congestive heart failure about 3 months for a long time. Well, it has gone from every 3 months to every 7 weeks now. His breathing is getting weaker also  and he isnt getting around as well lately. My uncle also had a stroke on Christmas day and one of his arteries in his neck is totally blocked and the other was 90%. He was finally able to have an operation and is doing better but they said he will prolly never get everything back to 100% with his arm (he lost the feeling and control of his left arm after his stroke for about a week). In January, I ended up in the hospital with kidney stones for 2 days and had to have a small operation to get rid of those.....OUCH!!! Yeah it was ALOT of pain!!

I love my job at OBMS this year! I love working with the kids there and the staff is awesome! There are two teachers there that are just absolutely HILARIOUS when you get the two of them together! I now eat with their team and I laugh so much with their stories. You can tell that the teachers that I work with this year really care alot about their students and where they are going (or not going in a few cases). The whole team of teachers at OBMS is just great I think. I used to have lunch with the 8th grade team and it was great listening to some of the stories of the kids and some of the experiences they have had over the years. Of course alot of you know that Im a sports fan and a football FANATIC! Well, there are a few from the 8th grade team that are huge sports guys and one of them even have NFL network and we have talked about alot of the things that are still happening in football! lol  Though, I found out the other day that Im prolly not gonna have a job with Tecumseh Local Schools next year. :(  With all of the money problems and the district voting down the levies over the last few years the district has to make alot of cuts and my job is on the block for next year.

And now to my neice!! She is sooooooooo cute!!! She has to be the cutest lil 6 month old girl in the WORLD!!! And of course she loves her Uncle Dan! All I have to do is put my arms out towards her and no matter who is holding her she leans way out towards me and holds her arms out for me and starts jumping. ITS SOOOO ADORABLE!! She is gonna be so very spoiled!! lol

And I have been reading some great books lately! I read two books that were written for teens mostly and one of them is a movie. They are written by Frank Peretti and a few of the kids saw me reading them and they had even read the books themselves. I gave the movie that was made from one of the books to two students and they liked the movie. I thought it was actually pretty good. Then it took forever to read my next book, because I couldnt get the kids to calm down half of the time at school, but then they do that every year about spring time! lol But it was another Frank Peretti book and it was called Monster. It was about sasquatches and was really a good book! Now I am reading a book by Ted Dekker that is supposed to be made into a movie call Thr3e (not there but three, alot of people have been reading that wrong! lol). I think it will be a really good book, and I ordered a book that him and Frank Peretti wrote together.

Well, I am not sure what else to write right now so I will just leave it all at that and I will try to do better at updating this thing more often!

Hey everybody! It's been quite a while I know! Some of you probably thought I was NEVER coming back! Well, alot has happened since I last put something on here but I am guessing you probably knew that since its been like 2 months! lol  I have resigned as Minister to Students at Medway Baptist Church, but most of you probably know that thru Kelly.  Right now I am working with the National Bivocational Ministers Association. I had to take a little break to get a few things straight for a while and I have not even been online really for quite a while. I am excited though, to see what God has for me next.

I have changed jobs also. I still work for Tecumseh Local Schools but I am working at one of the middle schools this year and am working in the LD classes over there. The first year that I went into the classrooms was a totally new experience for me and I had learned ALOT about working with MD kids. Last year I changed and was working with a kid that is autistic and cant read and it was another learning experience. The time I had with Kyle was awesome and he had one of his best learning years he has ever had and is starting to talk more and learning phonics. This year has gotten even better again! I am working with some awesome teachers at OB and I see about 5 of the kids from MBC everyday. It was actually my new job that made me think about how I needed to update my xanga. I have had 2 people tell me that they found my xanga, which I thought was odd. The one girl that told me I actually dont even know her. lol  But Kara Duchoumel (sp?) told me that she found my xanga and I thought....OH WOW!! I really need to update! 

For those of you that dont know, which I am sure it is most every one of you, my sister has had a baby and I am now an uncle! WOOHOO!!! She is sooooo very adorable. But of course you probably figured that since she is MY neice afterall.   It was rather odd how it all happened. My sister was having tummy pains on Wednesday and she knew it felt weird so she took an EPT and it came out as her being preggo. Well on that same Thursday she got in to see her doctor and the doctor told her not only was she pregnant but she was due in 3 weeks! Three days later on Sunday her water broke at about 1230pm and she ended up having the baby at 1210am! How awesome is that? She was only pregnant for like 4 days! lol I am going to try to put a picture of her up on here if I can figure out how to do it so you can see how adorable she is!

Well, that is about it for now. Ohio State is playing and so I need to go watch the game. Hope to hear from you all and may God bless you on this dreary but wonderful day!!!

Hey everyone! I actually tried to update this about 2 weeks ago but for some reason it did not work. I do not want to type out all 5 paragraphs that I had on here before so I will just do a quick little glimpse of things that have been happening....

We got a new Minister of Music that is awfully great, he has been a great blessing to our church and to beef up our worship services.....Broke foot....We have had almost 20 people join our church in the last 4-5 months.....Our staff works tremendously together and God is using the people of MBC....Workmens comp takes FOREVER to do anything.......Have started a 5 level discipleship process for the youth and we have 4 youth in the 2nd book and 5 in the first book......Started a choir and a praise team in the services and the people are more into worship now.....We have made a few cosmetic changes to worship and the building......Had surgery......Have 2 leaders working with me on the youth discipleship now and and I have a new SS Teacher for the middle school class (praise the Lord for Kelly Linder) and she taught the SWAT Sunday nights while I was out after surgery.......Told I cant go back to work until April 11th (BLAH!!!)...Making changes in the SWAT services on Sunday nights to beef it up a bit....Having LOTS of visitors in our church lately and is simply going wonderfully and am so blessed to work with a Pastor like Mike and a Music Minister like Harold.....GOD HAS BLESSED ME!!! Yes, even though I have not been able to work and am limited on alot of things that I can do right now (as I can not even drive!!) God has blessed and the youth and our church is stepping forward slowly but surely to make a difference in our community for Jesus Christ!!!

As most of you know we have YEC coming up and I am in charge of doing the security for that. I know that alot of you have either done so or have asked to do so and if you are interested then please let me know ASAP so that I can get you on the list and I will need your t-shirt sizes as well.

The last and only rather important thing is this.....I thank God for each one of you and seeing how God has and is and will use you all in His plan. Hearing and reading what is going on with some of you is just awesome and I look forward to hearing and seeing much more in the future. I hope

WOW! That was really a long one but I have more to add! We went to a concerty last night with the Dayton Ambassadors. If you all get a chance to see them...GO!!! You will be quite entertained! The music was BLAH! as I cant stand that old time country gospel! You may be asking how I had so much fun then and why I am saying that you should go and think it will be entertaining to you. Well, let me tell you......

Most of you know Kimi. She is one of my youth that is going to Miami U this Friday ( you will be greatly missed Kimi!). Well, her and her sister and one of the young college guys named Chris and myself had just a grand time just watching the facial expressions that they made while singing!!! I WAS DYING!!! I had to keep looking away as to not bust out in total laughter! When you next see me or Kimi you just have to ask about it! I can not make facial expressions so well over the internet but you just have to see this! The bass was also singing lower than he can really go anymore and when he got down to a certain point the words were all just blah blah blah blah blah for he could not sing at that point anymore. The tenor was simply outstanding!!! Probably the highest tenor I have ever heard. Maybe the highest Alto even! hahaha. They played the one song in the wrong key and Chris and I just looked at each other and Chris says to me..."I can sing that high if kicked in the correct place at the correct time." hahaha But the tenor sang with his neck all stretched out and his face all stretches up and down and from side to side. It looked like maybe he had had one too many face lifts and was just stuck like that. GOOD TIMES!

What a weekend! You have all seen those hilarious commercials for Citi Financial (or something like that) where there is a man or woman but the voice is of the opposite sex and how they spent all the money doing crazy things, like buying leather bustiers (spelling? I would never buy one so I really dont care how to spell it!). Well, I have found out that I could be on that commercial!!! I got a call the other day from Krogers in West Chester, Ohio asking me information about a check that I cashed there that morning. Of course I live in Enon (an hour north of there) and said why would I cash a check clear down there? She told me that someone had been in there that morning and cashed a check from where I work. At that point I was thinking HOW IN THE WORLD did someone get my check from Tecumseh or the church and cash it? Then she proceeded to ask where Canon Color something or other was located. I was immediately puzzled and thought the lady had lost her mind! Not only do I not live down there not know where anything is located in West Chester but... HELLO??? She just told me that someone cashed a check made out to me and I want to know what is going on and here she is asking ME for directions to this place. She then told me that it was a business check from that place that was made out to me and she assumed that I worked there. I told her that I did not work there and maybe she should check again for there may be more than 1 Dan Kinard in the world (wouldnt that be a blessing to the world?). She read off the first three numbers of my social security number and then told me my date of birth and asked if those were correct. I said yes (barely able to say that for my mouth was then in my lap). She then said that there was an officer that wanted to talk to me. The officer finished telling me my social security number with every number being correct and started asking me all kinds of questions. I then asked him what the next step is for me to do and he said "as soon as we erase you as a suspect we can go from there". At that point I was thinking. If I had really done that would I have been so cooperative? He then told me that that is just something they have to do. They had video there of the man that said he was THE Daniel Kinard. He then told me that he had seen the video and he had all but erased me as a suspect already because I did not sound like a big black man. I assured him that I was an even bigger white man and he told me what all I had to do next.

I then called the police and then called provident bank (the man had also cashed a cash check to himself from his account with provident bank. They ran my social and told me there was no account with my name nor my social. I began to make other calls and got on the net to look for things that I might have and not know about. I found out that there are 9! YES 9!!! credit cards in my name! All with $1000 limits and most of them maxed out. I called my bank and I was almost $250 overdrawn! I put a freeze on my account and now I have to show id whenever I go to the bank. I used to think "Why do I have to show id so much? They know who I am with coming in here a few times and week."  Now I am all but too happy to show my id and now I do not think that those commercials are not as funny as I once thought.

I have been eliminated as a suspect and they think that this guy that is doing this with my name also could have as many as 50 other identities!!! 50!!! can you believe that? I have a hard enough time knowing exactly who I am! I can not imagine trying to be 50 different people. I have wondered if any of them were women and thought I would love to see him dressed as a woman and thought that if he had then that clerk must have been blind or was not really looking. The police told me that the guy that did mine was a colored gentleman of large proportions with mustache and beard. THAT IS SO ME!!! hahaha

I have worked everything out but about $195 of mine that is just gone and lost now. I pray that the man is caught and that I can.........witness to him....yeah thats it.....witness to him! Scare him to Jesus! "You are going to die now so you better get right!" hahaha I am kiddingof course. After all it is just money and God has seen me through much worse situations than that in the past so this is nothing for God! Thank You, Lord!
